Farmers Market Signs - User Guide
Version 1.0.0.0 | Creator: Dafke

INSTALLATION
1. Place FS25_FarmersMarketSigns.zip in your Farming Simulator 25 mods folder.
   Keep the mod ZIP compressed.
2. Enable Farmers Market Signs when loading your savegame.
3. In multiplayer, the server and every client must use the same mod ZIP.
After replacing a package, restart the game/server.

PLACING A SIGN
1. Open Construction > Decoration and select a sign model.
2. Place it where you want customers to find your farm shop.
3. Each farm can own up to six signs in total, across all six models.
Land ownership is not required; the normal placement collision checks apply.

EDITING A SIGN
1. Walk close to a sign owned by your farm and use the on-screen
   "Edit advertising board" interaction.
2. Use "Choose design" to select one of the six designs.
3. Use "Edit top title" to replace FARMERS MARKET with your own title.
Use "Edit heading" for the separate heading below it.
Both fields accept up to 40 characters. An empty top title hides that title.
4. Your design and text appear on both sides. Long text is automatically fitted.
The lower farm-name label and its black panel are omitted, keeping the
original sign background and trim visible.

MANUAL PRODUCTS AND PRICES
1. Open "Product source" and choose "Fill in products manually".
2. Select "Product 1", "Product 2", "Product 3" or "Product 4".
3. Choose "Edit product name" and enter the product name, up to 32 characters.
4. Choose "Edit price / unit" and enter the price with its unit, up to
   24 characters. Example: EUR 250 / 1000 L.
5. Use "Remove this product" to clear that product and its price.
Leaving a product name empty hides its row.
Each sign can have its own four manual product rows.

AUTOMATIC FARMERS MARKET PRODUCTS
1. Enable the optional FS25_FarmersMarket mod. Integration was developed
against version 1.0.0.19; that mod is not included in this download.
2. Publish sale offers for your farm through Farmers Market.
3. At your sign, open "Product source" and choose
   "Follow Farmers Market automatically".
4. The sign shows up to four published product/price combinations belonging
to its owning farm. Prices are displayed per 1,000 litres, as in the market.
Stock without a published sale offer is not listed.
5. The rows follow market changes. Sold-out, withdrawn or expired offers
disappear. If more than four combinations qualify, the first four in offer
ID order are shown; identical products with identical prices share one row.
6. Automatic rows are edited through Farmers Market. Switch back to
"Fill in products manually" to edit your previously saved manual rows.
Switching modes does not erase those rows.
New signs use automatic mode when Farmers Market is available. Saved manual
settings are retained when loading an existing sign.
Automatic product names follow each player's game language. Titles, headings
and manually entered text stay as entered; they are not automatically translated.

FARM LOGOS
1. Open "Choose farm logo" and select one of the eleven included generic logos.
2. The choice applies to all current and future signs owned by that farm.
Individual sign designs and product rows remain independent.
3. Select "Standard goods illustration (no logo)" to restore each design's
   original product illustration.
The choice is saved for the farm, including when it temporarily owns no signs.
After ownership transfer, a sign uses the new owner's farm logo.

ADDING YOUR OWN LOGO - WINDOWS
1. Extract LOGO_STARTPAKKET.zip to a working folder. This starter kit is a
preparation tool; do not install it as a game mod.
2. Prepare your logo as a 512 x 512 DDS with BC3/DXT5 compression, a legacy DDS
header, transparency and a complete 10-level mipmap chain (349,680 bytes).
3. Put the DDS file in Eigen_logos. Use a filename starting with a letter,
up to 25 characters: letters, numbers, spaces, underscores or hyphens.
4. Double-click MAAK_MOD_MET_LOGOS.cmd. You can add up to 21 custom logos,
for a maximum of 32 logos including the eleven demos.
5. The resulting mod is written to Met_eigen_logos/FS25_FarmersMarketSigns.zip.
6. Use that newly built ZIP on the server and all clients, restart, then select
the new logo from "Choose farm logo" at any sign owned by your farm.
There is no live logo upload. JPEG/PNG files cannot be placed directly in
Eigen_logos; prepare the required DDS file first.

NIGHT LIGHTING
Both faces of every model illuminate automatically using the native FS25
day/night system. Lights switch off during daylight. Low and high lighting
profiles are supported; no manual switch is needed.

SAVEGAMES AND MULTIPLAYER
Sign designs, titles, manual rows, product mode and farm logos are saved.
The server validates edits; newly joining clients receive the sign state.
Keep the mod filename unchanged when updating this neutral edition.
Signs from the separately supplied existing-save edition are not automatically
converted to this independently named publication edition.

VALIDATION STATUS
67 fresh offline Lua checks per edition passed, including removal of the two
farm-name draw calls and preserved ownership, save and multiplayer behavior.
The updated modDesc and EN/NL/DE store descriptions passed XML schema checks.
ZIP integrity and 140 runtime entries were checked; 135 runtime files match
the previous edition byte for byte. Models, textures, night lights and logo
builder assets are unchanged; their previous checks apply and were not repeated.
Preview images are offline Blender renders. No live FS25 client or dedicated-
server visual validation was performed. Confirm the lower panel, night lighting
and multiplayer in a test save before publication. No GIANTS certification claim.
