DynexNova V1
Installation Guide – Farming Simulator 25

Follow the steps below to install the "DynexNova V1 Lightbar" on your vehicle in Farming Simulator 25.

This guide is designed to be as easy as possible to follow, even if you don't have much experience with modding.

---

1. Add the Lightbar Files

Start by placing the entire **"DynexNova V1"** folder directly into the vehicle's mod folder.

**Important:** The folder must be placed directly inside the mod and **must not** be placed inside another folder.

---

2. Choose the Correct Lightbar

DynexNova V1 is available in three different sizes:

- dynexNovaV1_631mm
- dynexNovaV1_1223mm
- dynexNovaV1_1519mm

Open the folder for the size you want to use on your vehicle.

---

3. Open the Vehicle's i3d File

Open the vehicle's ".i3d file" in "Giants Editor".

Keep the vehicle's i3d file open, as this is where the lightbar will be added.

---

4. Add the Lightbar

Open the folder containing the DynexNova lightbar you have chosen.

Inside, you will find the lightbar's ".i3d file".

Drag this file directly into the vehicle's open i3d file in Giants Editor.

For example, drag "dynexNovaV1_631mm" into the vehicle's open i3d file.

The same procedure applies to the 1223mm and 1519mm lightbars.

---

5. Position the Lightbar

Once the lightbar has been added to the vehicle, it will appear in the "Scenegraph" on the left side of Giants Editor, together with the vehicle's models and Transform Groups.

Select the lightbar and:

- Move it to the desired position.
- Rotate it so that it is correctly aligned.
- Check its height and placement.
- Make sure the lightbar is positioned correctly on the vehicle.

It is recommended to check the lightbar from several different angles to make sure it is straight and correctly positioned.

---

6. Check the Scenegraph

Make sure the lightbar is located correctly in the "Scenegraph" and that the entire lightbar moves together when you move it.

Important!

Do "not" rename any of the lightbar's important nodes.

These nodes are used by the XML configuration to control the warning lights.

---

7. Add the XML Configuration

Once the lightbar has been correctly positioned, you need to add the correct "XML configuration" to the vehicle's XML file.

Only use the XML configuration that belongs to the lightbar size you have selected.

The ready-made XML configurations can be found in the file: xmlHelp

You can find it here: DynexNova V1 - xmlHelp [under the readMe text document]

Copy the XML configuration for the lightbar size you are using and add it to the correct location in the vehicle's XML file.

---

8. Check the Node Paths

NOTE!

Node Paths such as:
- node="0>2|2"
- node="0>2|3"

may need to be changed.

The Node Path used by the lightbar's warning lights depends on where the lightbar is located in the vehicle's "Scenegraph".

Therefore, check the Node Paths for:

- Left warning light
- Right warning light

Then use these Node Paths in the XML configuration.

"Important!" If the Node Paths are incorrect, the warning lights will not function correctly.

---

9. Save and Test

Once everything is complete, it is time to save and test the vehicle.

- Save the vehicle's ".i3d file".
- Save the vehicle's "XML file*.
- Start "Farming Simulator 25".
- Test the vehicle.
- Check that the lightbar is positioned correctly.
- Check that the warning lights work as intended.

---

Done!

"DynexNova V1 is now installed on your vehicle."

If everything has been installed correctly and the Node Paths have been entered correctly, the lightbar and warning lights should work immediately in Farming Simulator 25.

"Good luck with your modding!"
